120 delegates attended the very first Asian edition of the global MVNO Industry Summit and clearly showed the regional appetite for MVNO and branded reseller business models. 78% of attendees came from MVNOs or MNOs; new 'start-up' MVNOs celebrated their involvement with whoops of support for each company contingency and a lively atmosphere of questioning and MVNO-MNO banter.

Clearly, the Asian model is still one of largely operator definition of MVNO potential - with allegories of herding and penning, and models of 50% projected MVNO revenues for host MNOs reflecting this. But the spirit of hard team work, innovation and fun for new entrants in the business bodes well as personified by Jason Lo, CEO, Tune Talk, Ng Kok Ghosh, CEO, XOX, and Kashif Amjadm CEO, Slimtel.

Celcom was the most vocal operator of the day, though DIGI, MAXIS and SK Telecom audience numbers were numerous.
