Ronny A. Haraldsvik, Senior Vice-President/Chief Marketing Officer, BelAir Networks

Ronny joined BelAir Networks as the company's first Senior Vice President/Chief Marketing Officer. A Silicon Valley veteran, Ronny has more than 22 years of global strategic marketing and industry experience from a range of technology segments including Radio Access Networks, Small Cells, Wi-Fi, web and video optimization, wireline networking and IP services, RFID, personal computing, wafer fabrication, software, and consumer devices.

Most recently, Ronny was the VP of Global Marketing at Bytemobile, Inc., a company now recognized as a leader in video optimization. At Bytemobile, he led the launch of the company's new Adaptive Traffic Management initiative.

Previously, Ronny was vice president of marketing with SpiderCloud Wireless, a company he joined right after its Series A funding. While at Qualcomm, Inc., Ronny was the vice president of strategy and market development and vice president of marketing for mobile broadband. Ronny was also the vice president of marketing at Flarion Technologies, a company acquired by Qualcomm. At Flarion, Mr. Haraldsvik led all marketing efforts in support of industry awareness for Flarion and the introduction of its FLASH-OFDM technology. Before joining Flarion, he was the vice president of marketing with Nortel Networks' Shasta IP Services business unit. Former positions include director of North America's field marketing organization while with Bay Networks (acquired by Nortel Networks) and senior manager positions with Silicon Graphics as well as several leading advertising agencies in San Francisco and Silicon Valley. Mr. Haraldsvik holds a BA from the University of San Francisco.

Todd Rowley, Sprint Nextel, Vice President, 4G & Wholesale BD, Sprint

Todd Rowley, vice president of 4G and wholesale business development, has responsibilities for leading Sprint's strategic relationships and partnering efforts with 4G and leading Sprint's new business growth initiatives for wholesale. He has helped lead the 4G business unit - developing, implementing and driving execution of Sprint's go-to-market plans with 4G, in conjunction with the Sprint/Clearwire venture. His team is also leading the program management of Sprint's relationship with LightSquared and the roll-out of their LTE network.

Todd has over 20 years in the wireless and cable industries and has been with Sprint for the past ten years. Prior to his current position, he was vice president of corporate development and has held various other positions at Sprint, including responsibility for Corporate Development, Strategy, Roaming, Spectrum Management and Fixed Wireless Broadband operations. Todd played an instrumental role in developing Sprint's 4G business plan and in the formation of Clearwire. Prior to Sprint, Todd worked in various positions for wireless start-ups and cable companies, including senior vice president of development for People's Choice TV (prior to Sprint's acquisition of the company in 1999).

In addition, he has served on several industry boards, including the Wireless Communications Association and the National EBS Association, the WCA's executive committee and chairman of the WCA's government relations committee. Rowley received his Bachelor's in Business Administration in finance and marketing from the University of Iowa.

Joshua Gordon, President, Red Pocket Mobile, USA

Joshua Gordon is President and Founder of Red Pocket Mobile, a leading GSM Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) in the United States with a special focus on high value, no contracts consumer wireless offerings.

Prior positions include founder and CEO of Global Direct Telecom; Vice President, Voice, for Verestar, Inc., an American Tower company (NYSE: AMT); Vice President, VoIP for Interpacket Networks; and Director of Strategic Networks for Justice Telecom.

Mr. Gordon’s commentary on telecommunication issues has been published by the Berkman Center for Internet and Society at the Harvard Law School, The Asian Wall Street Journal, The Los Angeles Times, MSNBC and The International Herald-Tribune.

Mr. Gordon received his JD from Harvard Law School, earned an MA in Southeast Asian Studies from the University of Hawaii-Manoa and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Williams College.

Patrick Parodi, Vice President, Ecosystem Development, Lightsquared USA

Patrick Parodi, vice president of ecosystem development for LightSquared, is responsible for building the company's third-party ecosystem to enable the most advanced and innovative set of services ever seen. He has 20 years of experience working in the wireless and mobile media space in the U.S., Latin America, Europe and Asia. His areas of specialty include fixed and mobile wireless broadband, mobile video, mobile music, and mobile advertising

Josh Berman, Vice President, PrepaYd Wireless, USA

Mr. Berman works coextensively in the telecommunications and financial services industries on offering products marketed towards the underbanked and underserved. At PrepaYd, Mr. Berman's role oversees operations and business development for both Bank Freedom and PrepaYd Wireless. At Bank Freedom, Mr. Berman facilitated the development of the Bank Freedom Prepaid Expense Card, a business banking product used by businesses as a credit card alternative for making business purchases. These prepaid cards can carry balances exceeding $250,000 and are used as budgeting tools to disperse funds to hundreds of employee' prepaid business cards. He has also launched several private label card programs for affinity groups, including a 1.6 Million member union. Mr. Berman co-created PrepaYd Wireless and was responsible for company start-up, business planning and execution of its market strategy. PrepaYd Wireless is a Mobile Virtual Network Operator that offers mobile services to the niche underbanked and underserved markets. PrepaYd Wireless intends to be an industry leader in providing Mobile Financial Services through its mobile devices. Leveraging experience and PrepaYd's subsidiaries in the telecommunications and financial services industries, Mr. Berman has helped implement a secure mobile payments product for making Bill Payments with SMS messaging. Mr. Berman holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from San Diego State University

Daniel Neal, CEO, Kajeet, USA

Daniel J. Neal is the CEO and Founder of kajeet. Previously, Mr. Neal served as CEO and Vice Chairman of VCampus Corporation, a pioneering provider of e-learning applications for businesses, educational institutions and government organizations. At USinternetworking, Inc., a leading Application Service Provider (ASP), Mr. Neal contributed significantly to its highly successful IPO and secondary public offering. Mr. Neal founded and ran AppHost™, USi's ASP-enablement business, and served as USi's Senior Director, e-commerce partnering and acquisition integration. Prior to USi, Mr. Neal served as Director of national partnering for Global One Communications, LLC, an international joint venture of Sprint, Deutsche Telekom and France Telecom. He also served as a Senior Member at the National Performance Review in the office of the Vice President of the United States. Mr. Neal has been awarded three U.S. patents in mobile technology. Mr. Neal received his A.B. in political science from the University of California, Berkeley, and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Uwe Luehrig, CEO, Simfonics

has more than 14 years experience in the mobile industry. Prior to co-founding Simfonics Uwe Lührig was head of product strategy & portfolio management for the German mobile operator E-Plus. In this role he was involved in the first activities of launching MVNOs on the E-Plus network. Before joining E-Plus Uwe co-founded Solomio Corporation a leading provider of integrated subscriber call management services - now acquired by Openwave. He was Director European Business Development for Solomio Corporation. Uwe holds a master degree of economics from Cologne University with thesis on network economics.

Richard Schwartz

Richard Schwartz, CEO, Macheen

Richard Schwartz has repeatedly created and led new organizations to innovate and develop software that has had significant market impact. Macheen Inc., his fourth company, delivers a cloud service platform for connected devices. Prior to founding Macheen, Schwartz was senior vice president of strategy and technology for Openwave, responsible for strategic direction and mergers/acquisitions. He joined Openwave when it acquired his former company, SoloMio, where he was CEO. Prior to founding SoloMio, he was senior vice president of technology at Vignette Corporation.

He joined Vignette in June 1999 when it acquired Diffusion, which he founded and led as CEO. Prior to Diffusion, he was chief technology officer and senior vice president of technology for Borland International during the period of revenue growth from $30M to $650M. At Borland, Schwartz was responsible for overall product and technology strategy.

Schwartz joined Borland via the acquisition of his company Ansa Software. He co-founded Ansa Software, where he was the co-creator of Paradox, the first relational database software widely used by business professionals, selling over 10 million licenses.

Schwartz holds a PhD in Computer Science from UCLA. After completing his PhD, he was a visiting professor in Applied Mathematics at the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel, and then served as senior computer scientist at Stanford Research Institute (SRI International) prior to founding his first company. He has been board member and investor in several companies and high-technology incubators. He holds a number of patents and is the author of numerous publications.

David Traynor

David Traynor, CEO, Aspider Solutions, USA

David Traynor joined the company in 2007 to head the Americas business for ASPIDER, and in 2008 was appointed VP Marketing for ASPIDER Solutions. David has been instrumental in building the company positioning and articulating the core competencies and value propositions for the business. Previously David held senior positions at FairMarket (now Ebay), Firefox/FTP (now NetManage), Retix and HP.

Namit Garg, Senior Business Line Manager, Carrier Solutions, Redknee, Canada

Namit Garg is the Manager for the MVNO/E portfolio team at Redknee. He is responsible for the product direction for Redknee's Real Time Rating and Charging solutions currently deployed in major customers such as Vodafone, Digicell, Sprint iWireless and KPN Spain.

Namit has 10 years of technical and management experience in creating, implementing and marketing telecommunications solutions for mobile network operators. He has experience in both the business and technical aspects of OSS/BSS infrastructure and value-added data services, working closely with operators to deploy real-time charging and billing solutions, as well as end-to-end device realization.

Namit started his career in software design at NORTEL and then joined TELUS Mobility to gain end-to-end product life cycle experience. As a Manager at TELUS, Namit's team launched several key wireless services such as WNP, LBS, PoC and VAS mobile apps. Last year, he moved into business line management role at Redknee. Namit holds a major in Bachelor of Engineering from University of Waterloo, with also a minor in Management.

Thomas Gregor

Thomas Gregor, VP, Product Development & Sales Support, RACO Wireless, USA

Tom has 15 years of experience in the wireless communications industry. He joined RACO Wireless in May 2011 as vice president, Product Development and Sales Support.

Most recently, he had national responsibility for all Sales Engineering and Sales Operations activities for T-Mobile's M2M Sales Channel.

Joining Omnipoint Communications in 1996, Tom designed and led the infrastructure build of the mobile network operator's IT network. Through the Voicestream Wireless acquisition, Tom managed and led teams of IT professionals.

He joined T-Mobile in 2002 through another acquisition, as part of the Sales Engineering team. Here, he led the success of wireless data adoption for enterprise customers and M2M solution partners. He has developed and designed the connectivity requirements for T-Mobile's M2M program and created the T-Mobile M2M SIM product portfolio.

Tom earned a bachelor's degree in finance from Providence College and an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Whitey Bluestein, Corporate Development and Strategic Advisor at Bluestein & Associates, LLC

Over the past decade, he has focused on the wireless prepaid, wholesale, payments, applications and service space, helping companies refine strategy, win deals and accelerate growth domestically and internationally.
As a strategic advisor and dealmaker, Bluestein has managed complex business relationships and negotiated joint ventures and alliances in the US, Europe, Asia and Canada. A former attorney, he has negotiated deals and managed strategic alliances with Verizon, Disney, Best Buy, Qualcomm, AT&T, T-Mobile, MetroPCS, British Telecom, RadioShack, Orange, Nokia and other noteworthy companies. Alex Besen, Founder and CEO, Besen Group, USA

Alex Besen is the Founder & CEO of The Besen Group LLC. He provides advisory and training services to corporate executives in the mobile industry.

His client references include: Avea, Banque Populaire, Clearwire, Cosmote, Fenerbahce, LeClerc Mobile, LightSquared, Mportal, MpowerLabs, SpeechPhone and few others.

He manages the firm's network of independent consultants and channel partners and interacts with his advisors. He began his mobile career with Pocket Communications based in Washington, DC where he managed the company's auction activity for C-block spectrum licenses as well as other activities associated with market research, market segmentation, pricing plans and market distribution strategies.

Bryan Stanley

With over 20 years experience in telecommunications, Bryan Stanley is responsible for business development and implementation of GSM/Fixed Mobile Convergent (FMC) customers for PC Management. Bryan has deployed FMC services with Rural ILECs, CLECs and Cable Operators in the U.S. Bryan’s experience has also included the operations, sales and marketing of CenturyTel’s wireless mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) business and was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Xspedius, a leading eastern U.S. CLEC. Emil Liedtke

Emil Liedtke, Senior MVNO Business Development Manager at T-Mobile, is responsible for defining strategic objectives, developing, and executing T-Mobile’s Wholesale MVNO program.

As the primary owner of the executive relationship with MVNO partners, he strives to enhance and strengthen existing relationships, enable partners to achieve commitments, and collaboratively generate revenue enhancing opportunities. Mike Roberts, Principal Analyst and Head of Americas, Informa Telecoms and Media, USA

Mike Roberts is Principal Analyst and Head of Americas at Informa Telecoms & Media with a focus on operator strategy in North and Latin America and global mobile network technology including mobile broadband, LTE and femtocells.
